It’s that time of the week again; you scroll down and read what we’ve discovered in the hazy crazy world of fashion. This week we found out that this piece of news may be crazy but we don’t believe in poo pooing anyone’s efforts…
No Bum Deal?
Look at this dress, it’s a nice dress right? The collar is intriguing, the fine details, and the bottom screams modern day flapper; yes one might say this is a fine example of couture fashion.
Bet you would never have guessed that it is actually made out of toilet seat covers-520 to be exact!
Canadian company Toletta in an attempt to promote their ‘luxury’ toilet seat covers, (we didn’t know there was such a thing either) commissioned charity and couture designer, Laura Dreger and lo and behold the world’s first couture toilet sea cover dress is born!
What can we say the dress is gorgeous even if it is made from bog roll covers, the shoot looks like it could have come from any high end magazine,(minus the toilet bowl), luxury toilet covers indeed, and it is absolutely genius! Those 520 covers and 100 man hours were certainly worth it, it’s got us and the rest of the world talking about it, we don’t think this will be the last we see of this company, its efforts certainly haven’t gone down the toilet…
